The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood to resolve the harms done to them. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

I don't think like you do. Is that sufficient cause to fear me?

Snippet from Saturday, June 23, 2018 7:51:49 AM - If your premise is false the bible becomes your evidence; gods and demons are real and non-believers are a direct threat against your delusion of eventual escape in a next life from the horror of your current horror filled existence through entrapment into the one true religion whose loving embrace is so restrictive that it must control every way in which you think while demanding you deny the truth of scientific evidence.

I don't think like you. That comes about as a result of reading research and experience. Some of the following I agree with as a result of my reading and my perspective on my reading.

Depression

"We have a set of items that clinicians and researchers can use to understand how people with depression are thinking," says Skye Barbic, a post-doctoral research fellow at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. "Based on how people answer our questions, we can tailor appropriate levels of care and supports. This set of questions can also inform completely different discussions between the clinician and the patient. Instead of discussing the disease as a 'bad thing', clinicians may be able to help patients have insight about the potential adaptive purposes of their thinking and how this may be used as a strength to move forward in their lives."

A new test measures analytical thinking linked to depression, fueling the idea that depression may be a form of adaptation

Alice Miller/Quotes

Contempt is the weapon of the weak and a defense against one's own despised and unwanted feelings.

Genuine forgiveness does not deny anger but faces it head-on.

Wherever I look, I see signs of the commandment to honor one's parents and nowhere of a commandment that calls for the respect of a child.

It is possible to resolve childhood repression safely and without confusion - something that has always been disputed by the most respected schools of thought.

Alice Miller quotes

The power of words

If what you say, what you mean and what you do are in harmony and accurately reflect your innermost thoughts, then I see that as being on-track as a human being in a bizarre world that has for all of its pre-history up until the last 150 years or so and then increasingly in the past 16 years. So much wonderful ground made against the insanity of the repressions and controls of religion where a man in a frock in a 2,000 year old mindset claiming to be the earthly representative of the creator of the universe.

A more plausible explanation than a talking snake, a talking donkey, an incestuous first couple to inhabit the planet made by a trick or treat God who sacrifices unendingly people, children, babies, mothers, fathers are all targets of this maniacal murder and despot with insane intentions and n o way of reasoning beyond the their need for forgiveness for their mistakes - a short-circuited hijacked mind that is in constant state of readiness to be obedient to any whim of their master should the misty whimsical nature of the "revealed word" be understood. A good fearing Catholic will run a mile from any thinking process that allows them to see how they have been manipulated in every way possible, their life has been hijacked and their only defence now is that they need to support what they have to increasingly turn towards for comfort and consolation along with fellow ignorant inactive bonded slaves of the religion. Obedient to their death or the detriment of any that appears to intervene.

The Catholic childhood environment is one that is measured closely by the assumed position in a never ending hierarchy (unless you personally get to sit at the right hand of the god who created the universe and spend your eternity in a state of utter and constant bliss for multiple times the estimated life of our universe and you best get to like as you have trillion upon trillion days to sit and stare and be filled with bliss and the knowledge that you were the lucky one who gained the attention of the psychopathic sexually repressive, sexually obsessive 30th perhaps 40th generation of bonded psychological lifelong slavery - the stuff that Human Rights laws attempt to provide and reason why religion has had tp become much much more psychological along with endless finance to bully with legal so that the Church can enforce what we all know top be bunkum at more and more ways. Many of us are realising for the first times in our lives the sheer insanity of a religion like that of Christianity, Islam or Judaism - the Abrahamic trilogy of multiple insanity being derived from the one source and each claiming exclusivity as to the veracity of their claims and subsequently their right to land, resources and connections with business, government and at every level of community as way to hijack the opportunities of a society to enforce a regime of psychological entrapment that is millennia old.

A great deal of psychology time can be spent on words. I suspect this has to a large extent

Traumatic memory reside in the brain in a way that they are most accessible and may be constantly scanned for as a primary safety mechanism.

The result of "good" Catholic trauma filled education is to end up with the mundane tasks and requirement of the religion to be at the forefront of memories and thus being the first "cab" off the rank in responding. This may well be an origin of concrete thinking as everyday learning has taken precedence in those areas that are usually occupied by trauma survivors for unresolved life threatening experiences - the stuff that makes the "hyper vigilant". The well and better trained you are the closer you are to a traumatic memory instantly popped out in a blurt and no opportunity for review.

Very often we don't get to lay down memories in the same way between the state of pondering or ruminating and "processing" of memories so that they do not become intrusive as intrusive traumatic memories are toxins to us. Some unscrupulous psychologists and others ruthlessly take advantage and inflict the most horrible forms of torment and rejection on already vulnerable and struggling survivors.

What form of psychologist unleashed aversion therapy as his final attack before running off like a guilt ridden little boy yet to return to the scene of his mistake. Presumably he might fear explored of his ignorance or how would he explain his methodology that only served to touch on parts of my childhood abuse and left other much-needed attention untouched or unexplored to the point where I began to steal the services of a professional counsellor at the Royal Commission.

Plaigiarism has a place in this process. I t has had a few moments to say the least my sister, me ex-wife and a few others could be considered border-line.

Academia

A hotbed of plagiarism, maniacal egos, arrogance and ignorance for some trying to prove to the world that their mistakes or cerebral gems and are willing to cast aside their investment in relationship and motherhood to invest their life climbing a hierarchical ladder just like that found in religion and other abusive environments. What a waste of life that must be. I think it could only be eclipsed by the sickness of religion that has the potential to harvest that form of human nature in the toxic way it does.

"This is a matter for the church and I respect the internal judgements of the church. I don't stand outside the church and provide them with public lectures in terms of how they should behave. I've noted carefully what his Holiness has said in the United States. Obviously that was a source of great comfort and healing in the United States. I'm like all Australians very much looking forward to what the Pope has to say here in Australia as well, as I am to my own conversation with the Pope later this morning." Wednesday, 22 June 2022 - I may not have this down syntax, word and letter perfect or with absolute precision in every aspect; however time and the evidence will show that I am closer to the truth than any religion has been or will likely be.
Let history be the standard by which that is measured.

Youtube - listen to Commissioner Bob Atkinson get it wrong - again
The Commissioner informs us that the clergy sexual abuse issue was all over and that it had only been a small statistical glitch around the year 2000. History shows this to have been a display of absolute ignorance on the issue ...
