The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

As I understand the recent decision of the UN (Dismissing Catholic abuse victims' lawsuit, ECHR rules Vatican cannot be sued in European courts) when it said "courts in that country ruled they did not have jurisdiction over the Vatican," and they also said "... the Vatican is a sovereign state that can not be sued, and that there had been nothing "unreasonable or arbitrary" in the Belgian courts' adopting that position." when survivors attempted to sue the Holy See and Catholic Church leaders because they had been abused by priests when they were children. The survivors were seeking compensation "because of the Catholic Church's policy of silence on the issue of sexual abuse." In October 2013, the Ghent Court declined jurisdiction in respect of the Holy See.
In noticing this recent UN decision regarding redress and survivors in parts of the EU recently was the declaration that the Vatican and the Holy See are legally defined as an independent sovereign state.
Given that the pope has legions of knights all around the world who have sworn an oath of obedience to the papacy.
The pope is the head of a foreign nation state encompassing the Vatican and the Holy See including the Roman Catholic Church.
How do we define those in positions of authority who operate silently in every level across our governments, their institutions and their communities who have a sworn oath of allegiance and obedience to the head of a foreign nation state?
How are these people to be described in relation to Australia, being an Australian, our national security, our independence from secret influences from foreign nation states, rogue states, criminal states, hegemonic states and states bent on building their empires in any accessible nation or state who is willing to allow such incursions under the protection afforded to religions?
The protections afforded are comprehensive and inviable and have constitutional protection under S116 meaning that no claim made by any rogue state who poses themselves as a religion can be rejected, controlled, managed or restricted in any manner leaving every Australian citizen at the mercy of those who control or have favors bestowed on them from the papal throne in Rome.
Under this generations long program no Australian should consider that they have a right to freedom of expression or any other right as the claims of the Catholic religion are that every "soul" on the planet is said to be in the direct control and responsibility in the claimed right of a mentally deranged foreign state. A foreign state who has unknown thousands of placed and positioned people bonded via perpetual life threat ready to act immediately at the whim of the pope.
No Australian can consider themselves safe or free under the terms and aims of the present day Roman Catholic Church.
The head of a foreign state has within Australia legions of men and women at his beck and call. The fact that these Australians take an oath of allegiance and instant obedience to directives said to be from the pope is quite terrifying for those who had the misfortune of encountering the Catholic Church and it's system in their early childhood.
This a foreign state protects it's property and those within it's ranks by wielding it's powers in the courts and the back rooms of government to allow it to continue the largest ongoing child sex crime in history with the profits and powere that it steals from the people through the unregulated power bestowed on it through it's need to be afforded protection under its persona of a religion.
Should failed religions be afforded protection in Australia?
Australia and it's government fail the Australian people when it fawns, feeds and fosters failed religions over the Human Rights of the Australian people.
One of those directives could well be the reason for the continuing moral and social failures of the Catholic Church and it's inability to safely assess survivors cases in a safe and humane way.
Because it can be done, does not mean it should be done.
The ongoing failure to settle with an appropriate sum of compensation and access to secular, trauma informed and evidence based health services is continuing the crimes against a targeted segment of Australian society which we know has taken place.
What needs to be done to safely resolve this issue?
2023 Findings in Spain found that 0.6% of the population of Spain had been sexually abused by Roman Catholic priests and laity. Up to 50 million alive on any day who have been raped or abused by Catholic clergy &/or Catholic laity
Current world population is 8 billion - 0.6% = 48 million alive today who are likely to have been raped by Catholics globally.
The church protected the perpetrators, not the victims
