The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood to resolve the harms done to them. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

Ageism

Another day and you are still being ground away. You only die the one time.

PUBLISHED: July 17, 2025 05:21:11 AM UPDATED: No Updates

I was prompted to muse and converse about doing a broad piece of research into what I have come to euphemistically refer to as "The Naughty Boy/Girl Syndrome". These are people who have acquired the label of "Difficult people" - there are many in the care and medical worlds, although they are by no means limited to just these two realms - being over 70 and taking an interest in your own or others well-being, or having some understanding of having some pretension to rights seems to be a pre-condition to this "diagnosis".

Putting in 15 minutes to randomly ask others in a shopping centre points to the world of ageing as being the most common and immediate denominator with responses such as "Don't start me", followed by 'I don't want to talk about it', and 'you only make it worse by asking that' and more along those lines. Next in popularity is to remain silent and stalk away - perhaps as a means of escaping from a Naughty Boy. Then try a question about mistakes in their health care - it seems few miss what seems to be a very common issue.

I'm pulling together all the info to answer the user's question. "The Naughty Boy/Girl Syndrome" fits into ageism patterns in Australian healthcare.

Older adults often get labeled unfairly, leading to poor care. Recent efforts like the Aged Care Act and training programs aim to fix this.

I'm ensuring the answer covers how this syndrome impacts care and what’s being done. It seems like policy and training are key to reducing ageism.

The user's likely goal is to understand this in Australia. I'm focusing on how it fits into broader ageism and recent efforts to combat it.

I'm double-checking citations for accuracy. This includes reports like Health Consumers NSW and the Human Rights Commission’s work (Health Consumers NSW, Changing Perspectives).

I'm considering if there's more to add, like specific case studies. But I think the stats and policy info cover it well.

The phenomenon described as "The Naughty Boy/Girl Syndrome" in the context of ageism in healthcare is indeed present in Australia. Research and reports, such as those from Health Consumers NSW and the Older Women’s Network NSW, highlight that older Australians frequently experience ageism in healthcare settings, where they are often dismissed or labeled as "difficult" when asserting their health needs. This leads to inadequate care and negative health outcomes. Efforts to combat this include training programs for healthcare professionals, new legislation like the upcoming Aged Care Act, and advocacy by various organizations. These initiatives aim to foster a more respectful and equitable healthcare environment for older Australians.

Australian Government - New Aged Care Act

I'm thinking about how to present this clearly. It needs to be concise yet cover all key points for the user.

The final answer should highlight the syndrome's presence and impacts, plus recent efforts. I'm making sure it's easy to read and helpful.

I'm ensuring all citations are included for credibility. This builds trust and lets the user verify the info if needed.

The user's likely goal is to get a full picture of this issue in Australia. I'm focusing on both the problem and solutions to meet that need.

I'm double-checking the flow to ensure it makes sense. It should flow from the issue to impacts, then to efforts addressing it.

2023 Findings in Spain found that 0.6% of the population of Spain had been sexually abused by Roman Catholic priests and laity. Up to 50 million alive on any day who have been raped or abused by Catholic clergy &/or Catholic laity

Current world population is 8 billion - 0.6% = 48 million alive today who are likely to have been raped by Catholics globally.

"This is a matter for the church and I respect the internal judgements of the church. I don't stand outside the church and provide them with public lectures in terms of how they should behave. I've noted carefully what his Holiness has said in the United States. Obviously that was a source of great comfort and healing in the United States. I'm like all Australians very much looking forward to what the Pope has to say here in Australia as well, as I am to my own conversation with the Pope later this morning." Wednesday, 22 June 2022 - I may not have this down syntax, word and letter perfect or with absolute precision in every aspect; however time and the evidence will show that I am closer to the truth than any religion has been or will likely be.
Let history be the standard by which that is measured.

Youtube - listen to Commissioner Bob Atkinson get it wrong - again
The Commissioner informs us that the clergy sexual abuse issue was all over and that it had only been a small statistical glitch around the year 2000. History shows this to have been a display of absolute ignorance on the issue ...
