These questions are concerned with what you remember being presented with, when you first became aware of particular ideas, and how your understanding may have changed.

You may answer Unsure, I don't remember, or Prefer not to answer whenever those responses better describe your experience.

Choose how much you want to record

Light response Record your answer and the age or period when applicable. This produces a structured Personal Story based mainly on what you selected and when. Full response Record the same answer and age information, with additional space for what you understood then, what you understand now, and anything else you want to preserve. This produces a richer Personal Story that can draw upon your own written reflections. You do not need to complete the written detail in one sitting. Returning later to add further memories, context or understanding can enrich your record and enhance the Personal Story produced from it. Earlier saved responses remain in your history, so later additions can become part of a developing record rather than replacing what you recorded before.

Both modes preserve the same core questionnaire information. Neither mode is more valid. They record different amounts of detail, so the Personal Story produced from them will also contain different amounts of personal narrative.
