The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

Amidst the gloomy narratives of abuse, a beacon of hope emanates from the corporate sector, illustrating the power of social responsibility in tackling abuse and supporting survivors. The corporate realm, with its vast resources and influential reach, emerges as a potent force in this endeavor.

In Australia, a commendable initiative is the partnership between Telstra and WESNET. Through this collaboration, over 8,000 smartphones were provided to survivors of domestic and family violence, embodying a lifeline in times of peril 1. This initiative underscores the crucial role technology can play in providing support to survivors.

Echoing this sentiment globally, IBM has formulated design principles aimed at making technology a sanctuary rather than a snare for survivors of domestic abuse. This initiative, amid the COVID-19 pandemic's isolating grip, aims to curtail the weaponization of technology against survivors. The initiative also includes provision for paid, confidential domestic violence leave for employees in Australia and New Zealand 2.

National Australia Bank (NAB) has carved a niche in financial support for survivors, offering grants to aid those escaping violent situations. A notable contribution was a $140,000 grant to social enterprise “Two Good Co” to bolster their meal provision at domestic and family violence centers amid the pandemic 3.

The corporate sector's engagement transcends geographical bounds, manifesting in diverse initiatives worldwide. A significant stride is the newly minted agreement requiring companies to adopt a holistic approach to gender-based violence, encompassing prevention measures, survivor protection through remedy and compensation, and developing robust reporting and grievance procedures 4.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) embeds a 'triple bottom line' approach, marrying economic aspirations with social and environmental implications. This ethos, albeit slowly gaining traction in Australia, calls upon corporations to shoulder a broader spectrum of responsibility encompassing societal well-being 5 6.

The actions of these corporate crusaders reflect a broader narrative where businesses transcend profit-oriented pursuits, embracing a humanitarian mantle to combat abuse and uplift survivors. As the world grapples with the scars of abuse, the corporate realm's proactive engagement illuminates a path towards a safer, more compassionate society. Through their initiatives, these corporations extend a lifeline of hope, affirming the transformative power of corporate social responsibility in weaving a tapestry of safety, support, and justice for survivors of abuse.

"This is a matter for the church and I respect the internal judgements of the church. I don't stand outside the church and provide them with public lectures in terms of how they should behave. I've noted carefully what his Holiness has said in the United States. Obviously that was a source of great comfort and healing in the United States. I'm like all Australians very much looking forward to what the Pope has to say here in Australia as well, as I am to my own conversation with the Pope later this morning." Kevin Rudd, Prime Minister of Australia, 17 July 2008. more

Wednesday, 22 June 2022 - I may not have this down syntax, word and letter perfect or with absolute precision in every aspect; however time and the evidence will show that I am closer to the truth than any religion has been or will likely be.
Let history be the standard by which that is measured.

Youtube - listen to Commissioner Bob Atkinson get it wrong - again
The Commissioner informs us that the clergy sexual abuse issue was all over and that it had only been a small statistical glitch around the year 2000. History shows this to have been a display of absolute ignorance on the issue ...
