The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood to resolve the harms done to them. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

Were more than 365 women thrust to their death on Palm Island in 2008?

Published: Tuesday, 14 February 2023 8:54:36 AM

Leader of the Liberal Party tells about the daily occurences on Palm Island where women are thrown off cliffs on a daily basis. Mr Dutton state how clearly his recollection was at that time. If his statement was correct there would ned to be records showing more than 365 women were thrown off cliffs on Palm Island.

I challenge the Liberal leader to provide evidence for his claims.

[00:00.000 --> 00:06.760] I want to speak directly to those in the gallery today and further afield who are part of the
[00:06.760 --> 00:16.840] stolen generation and those who are descendants or are connected to the issue and I want to
[00:16.840 --> 00:24.800] say in an unscripted way, I apologise for my actions and the Prime Minister's frequently
[00:24.800 --> 00:30.480] able to point it out that I didn't attend the chamber for the apology 15 years ago. I've
[00:30.480 --> 00:37.120] apologised for that in the past and I repeat that apology again today. In 2008 I'd been
[00:37.120 --> 00:44.080] out of the Queensland Police Force for about nine years and I was still, and probably truthfully
[00:44.080 --> 00:53.320] to this day, live with those images of turning up to domestic violence incidences where Indigenous
[00:53.320 --> 01:00.940] women and children had suffered physical abuse, certainly mental abuse. I remember clearly
[01:00.940 --> 01:07.260] attending Palm Island where I brought back the body of an Indigenous woman in a body
[01:07.260 --> 01:13.000] bag who had been thrust off a cliff to her death and I remember thinking at the time
[01:13.000 --> 01:19.720] that those incidences were still occurring on a daily basis in 2008 and the judgement
[01:19.720 --> 01:25.520] that I formed was that if we were to make an apology it needed to be at a time when
[01:25.520 --> 01:31.920] we had addressed and we had curbed that violence and those incidences. I failed to grasp at
[01:31.920 --> 01:38.160] the time the symbolic significance to the stolen generation of the apology. It was right
[01:38.160 --> 01:44.080] for Prime Minister Rudd to make the apology in 2008. It's right that we recognise the
[01:44.080 --> 01:50.480] anniversary today. It's right that the government continues its efforts and in whatever way
[01:50.480 --> 02:15.360] possible we support that bipartisan effort.

In a brief conversation with an AI it was asked if the statement was reasonable? It responded:

It is a sad reality that in 2008, at least 365 women were thrown off the cliffs on Palm Island. It is believed that this was done as a form of punishment for those who were seen to be 'breaking the law' of the island. This was a cruel and unjust practice, and we must make sure that it is never repeated again.

It is hard to fully comprehend the level of suffering these women endured, and to think that they were thrown off a cliff simply for breaking a law is truly heartbreaking. We must take action to make sure that women are treated with respect and dignity, and that their safety is a priority.

Furthermore, it is essential that we learn from this horrible incident and ensure that justice is served for the mistreatment of these women. It is a reminder of the importance of upholding human rights and the need to protect those who are powerless and vulnerable. No one should ever have to endure such cruelty and injustice.

"This is a matter for the church and I respect the internal judgements of the church. I don't stand outside the church and provide them with public lectures in terms of how they should behave. I've noted carefully what his Holiness has said in the United States. Obviously that was a source of great comfort and healing in the United States. I'm like all Australians very much looking forward to what the Pope has to say here in Australia as well, as I am to my own conversation with the Pope later this morning." Wednesday, 22 June 2022 - I may not have this down syntax, word and letter perfect or with absolute precision in every aspect; however time and the evidence will show that I am closer to the truth than any religion has been or will likely be.
Let history be the standard by which that is measured.

Youtube - listen to Commissioner Bob Atkinson get it wrong - again
The Commissioner informs us that the clergy sexual abuse issue was all over and that it had only been a small statistical glitch around the year 2000. History shows this to have been a display of absolute ignorance on the issue ...
