The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood to resolve the harms done to them. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

Tonight on ABC 4 Corners Purity Culture you can be assured that a million or more of in denial Catholics will be watching with horror at the disclosures and with a growing understanding of their own denial and their inappropriate responses to their disgusting human rights abusing childhood. Being exposed to the truth of their horrific upbringing will be a first for many.
Many will in time be thankful that they were able to sit through it as they can then begin their own journey of recovery from Trauma in Religion.

Much of this formed a part of my lived experience in my childhood. The lists were like they said in the article though they do not mention there were lists made about the children and adults and what was said in confession as well aslists of vulnerable kids able to be accessed for rape were also listed. I experienced a number of exorcisms - no mention of those in the article. Maybe in the video that will get some exposure. Wearing the torture device was something I saw close hand and the whipping of a woman during her menstrual period I had to sit and watch these fucked up people on multiple occasions.
You get some seriously weird responses from those raised in these types of Catholic systems - three in particular stand out in this regard as all 3 were and still are regarded as "highly" respected lawyers. All 3 were in the business of No Win No Fee legal actions on behalf of survivors of abuse of children in their childhood. I had all 3 of them "drop me" in some way. One said that what I was saying about my childhood was simply not possible, not believable, and had too many impossibles. Another just baulked and wasn't able to provide any rational explanation; another sold my matter on while his firm sold their entire personal injury division, they did this without informing me. All of them were unable to believe me and many others simply because they were in denial of their own childhood and their own horrible religious experiences.
On looking back there were and remain a few others who are still or were in denial possibly for other reasons; never the less they are not able to function at their full ability as a professional capable of providing you with their full and complete capacity as a for hire professional. Oooops there goes another $80K.
Haveing the capacity very recently to meet an armoured up Catholic intake nurse and her equally panicked off-sider in a Queensland public hospital is a skill that only comes from repeated experience as it can be very unsettling to be presented with that by people who may have experienced more exorcisms than I did as a child. I was fortunate to find a safe Dr who had me out of there in a few hours thankfully.
When you encounter this degree of denial with your treating medical or legal persons, with police, with magistrates or judges, with politicians or even motor mechanics, personal trainers or engagements with public servants, nurses or street sweepers, this can cause the loss of your human right to valid and equal professional treatment.
2023 Findings in Spain found that 0.6% of the population of Spain had been sexually abused by Roman Catholic priests and laity. Up to 50 million alive on any day who have been raped or abused by Catholic clergy &/or Catholic laity
Current world population is 8 billion - 0.6% = 48 million alive today who are likely to have been raped by Catholics globally.
The church protected the perpetrators, not the victims
"This is a matter for the church and I respect the internal judgements of the church. I don't stand outside the church and provide them with public lectures in terms of how they should behave. I've noted carefully what his Holiness has said in the United States. Obviously that was a source of great comfort and healing in the United States. I'm like all Australians very much looking forward to what the Pope has to say here in Australia as well, as I am to my own conversation with the Pope later this morning." Kevin Rudd, Prime Minister of Australia, 17 July 2008. more

The Commissioner informs us that the clergy sexual abuse issue was all over and that it had only been a
small statistical glitch around the year 2000. History shows this to have been a display of absolute ignorance
