The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood to resolve the harms done to them. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

From my understanding what the New Zealand government and for that matter the Australian government continue to miss is the reality that the Holy See/Vatican are the legal arm and are a sovereign state. A sovereign state who has their own religion and it is through that that legal action can be taken against them by refusing to trade with the Vatican and the Holy See like the world did to South Africa and apartheid.
We need to boycott them openly and publicly.
They have always gotten around that through their ability to morph into a religion and for them to scam themselves out of jail that way. It will only take one country to publicly and openly refuse to trade with them on that legal basis until they clean their act up by forcing them to properly compensate survivors properly. It is well within the powers of New Zealand to do this.
Unfortunately Australia has a PM who was born into the religion and as a result is still constipated in his thinking and continues to pay abeyance in that way and bt giving them that recognition they have been and will continue to defraud us all.
Close our embassy. Stop trading with them.
There is more than I can say on that topic, however just take note of where and how any resistance comse back to you if and when you raise that topic with people who have the ability to engage with the right authorities about this. As well they have for centuries used their supposed right of freedom of religion to defraud us all and will continue as so many are still enraptured by the notion that they are something holy when in fact we all know and understand that they are criminals and that they have and will continue for however long we protect them and their ability to morph between a sovereign state and being a protected religion.
That's how we got into this and how we continue to stay there - not until one state puts children and their human rights before the likes of people like Pell and the current pope and any that follow in that toxic line of manipulation that they have built over the decades to the point where country leaders have been afraid to stand up to them and we are the losers every time in that game. Not only victims as children, governments need to protect those victims right throughout their lives as they have been defrauded again and again by those who are supposed to protect them.
No child can or ever will be free from the risk the Roman Catholic Church and religion whilst it remains protected under Constitutional rules that protect them unquestioningly by keeping themselves under the perpetual threat and sophistry of the most sophisticated Protection Racket that the world has ever seen.
Never forget that they moved priests from parish to parish knowingly and they did that under the guise and the protection that our country affords religions; they continue to do that today in any country that they can get away with it unless laws specifically prevent them.
Protect our children. Stop protecting this broken religion.
Silence their bishops and their threats. Refuse them any opportunity to trade or to function in our country until they comply with our laws and in the spirit of those laws just as they have silenced and denied the human rights of their victims.
They will complaint loudly and bishops will threaten that they have millions of followers who that traditionally have threatened to call on. Take away their ability to morph from state into a religion and back again.
It's not difficult to see or to explain. It is only difficult for those who were trapped as children and have not yet got themselves out from under the sophistry and the bribery of centuries of an inherited toxic religion whose purpose is to protect the Vatican and the Holy See.
