The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood. The Christian religion at it's core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma has been kept alive, active and deeply embedded in each new generation over the past 2,000+ years.

A momentary respite from the effects of a spiteful eviction that has had a huge impact both financially and emotionally as my abuse as a child by Catholic clergy was a target for the landlord. It is indeed a vulnerability that every unresolved case of sexual abuse by clergy faces.
Just how many of those there are is not able to be answered. Every one of them was a victim of rape as a child. It is my opinion that these sorts of numbers and these sorts of human rights abuses can only come about through the continued trade and business between government and those with the power to prevent justice for not just those abused by clergy, but by anyone abused sexually as an adult, as a child at any stage in their life - this entire segment of the community has been collectively denied justice in some macabre dance with insanity that is wholly dependent on the an unregulated supernatural belief system that has held humanity to this hijack for far too long.
When a religion can flout and systematically defeat the laws of every nation on the planet because of a protected status for a supernatural belief system which has been systematically protected in the Constitution of many countries; the cost of that is counted in the numbers of children raped by empowered people.
JohnB: am thinking that speaking with the new govt in Canberra asking for a fair and honest look at the access to justice for all sex abuse survivors starting with those abused as children - the less than 1% success in the justice system is a monumental failure along with the redress scheme and back through so many previous inquiries where govt has consistently failed its most important people - the adults and decision makers of the future. The timing is right.
Needs something like an ICAC but focused on producing a real outcome - not look asking why; instead asking what do we need to do to protect all Australian children.
There is no better cause - with a growing cabal of damaged children as well we have great science and evidence of the reality of trauma - enough to shoot down the most controversial thing I know - Briginshaw - 1938 thinking applied to sexual abuse survivors - how they did that in 1938 is kept alive and we have learned so much reality since then
There is no better cause as this issue has the greater need - it goes teen suicides, it touches every interface with other humans
I sought to keep my child safe - the opposition I encountered was huge, coordinated, connected, well financed and well orchestrated. How did this finish with silence and denigration from Commissioner Atkinson, even when he became a Royal Commissioner: Catholic rape - 2009 with QLD Police Commissioner Bob Atkinson and no action other than to denigrate, block and stymie survivors from telling of this aspect while protecting and empowering the abusers simply because I and others had the misfortune to have been sexually abused as a children by Catholic clergy.
The issue is no longer one of an issue of religion; the issue today is directly and specifically about the sovereignty of Australia when it is faced with so many within the ranks of community services have an allegiance to a foreign entity that comes before the duty and obedience to Australia and its people.

Marita wants to make special mention of a good friend who got lost for a while when I was overwhelmed at being acknowledged, my advocate, adviser and the source of great knowledge and understanding in Ingrid Irwin and her published works on the systemic issues that deny justice to so many. I look forward to worker closer together with Ingrid in the future on these important social issues.
"This is a matter for the church and I respect the internal judgements of the church. I don't stand outside the church and provide them with public lectures in terms of how they should behave. I've noted carefully what his Holiness has said in the United States. Obviously that was a source of great comfort and healing in the United States. I'm like all Australians very much looking forward to what the Pope has to say here in Australia as well, as I am to my own conversation with the Pope later this morning." Wednesday, 22 June 2022 - I may not have this down syntax, word and letter perfect or with absolute precision in every aspect; however time and the evidence will show that I am closer to the truth than any religion has been or will likely be.
Let history be the standard by which that is measured.
Youtube - listen to Commissioner Bob Atkinson get it wrong - again
The Commissioner informs us that the clergy sexual abuse issue was all over and that it had only been a small statistical glitch around the year 2000. History shows this to have been a display of absolute ignorance on the issue ...
