The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

Australian Catholics are having a reckoning moment. Here's what young believers think
How many fear or delusional based decisions are being described in this article?
Trauma and guilt = "... it was kind of like a lightning bolt moment, where I had to reflect on all the bad decisions that I had made."
Bill Lowry believes the declining level of religiosity among young Australians is a "great tragedy" ... a prime example of getting it arse about; so wrong on this one.
The tragedy is that the Church destroyed 'faith' by its own actions, the faith of their proffered God and their claimed social responsibilities that come with it. There is a huge difference between religiosity and faith when your role models actively enable child rape and actively deny and obstruct justice to tens of thousands while they are still known to be complicit, it's the religiosity that is the problem leaving us with the blind partisan politics of the Church, it's stubborn refusal to display even a vestige of humanity and humanness.
A close friend discussed that with a retired Bishop from Canada; he thought that for the Church to be relevant as a Christian faith organization, it might have to die first as an organization. From my contacts I learned that one of the most progressive clergymen in Australia was not provided with a position in these discussion so it's still business as usual. Only needs the input from George Pell and everything will fall back into place so that their abuses can continue.
Same insane shit; just a different day. Just another exercise of trying to change the shape of the sewer.
The example of Dominic Perrottet shows that he is just another ultra religious man who fails to see the need to separate his personal faith from his role and duty as Premier to all faiths and to the Secular population that is his responsibility. This makes his professed faith a valid object of debate in the public arena. It also poses more questions such as should Dominic Perrottet be allowed to force his religious beliefs and faith onto the people of New South Wales. It is naive to think that there is a divide when any independent observer can see that Perrottet and Prime Minister Morrison both bask in their glory of being toxic Christians.
Yet to be discussed at the Plenery Council :- When it comes to religion, women don’t have rights…they have issues
Compensation to their victims and their open abhorrence of the ideals of our Secular country driven by their unquestioning of the reality of the Holy See, Catholicism, the Vatican, the Papacy that make up this most disgusting foreign nation state.
Leadership and the herd have consistently failed me and the millions of others like me; those failures continue today with very few real changes. What am I to do when it comes to putting my trust into a system and in people who simply are unable to put themselves in my shoes when it comes to vaccination and putting my trust into the hands of people who do not have a full perspective of the reality of survivors of abuse by religion and the governance systems that enable and protect them.
Today I need to face all of that and the reality of what I can expect if things go awry in any way that would cause me to be put into a position where people of ignorance and incompatibility take control of my life and my decision making.
2023 Findings in Spain found that 0.6% of the population of Spain had been sexually abused by Roman Catholic priests and laity. Up to 50 million alive on any day who have been raped or abused by Catholic clergy &/or Catholic laity
Current world population is 8 billion - 0.6% = 48 million alive today who are likely to have been raped by Catholics globally.
The church protected the perpetrators, not the victims
"This is a matter for the church and I respect the internal judgements of the church. I don't stand outside the church and provide them with public lectures in terms of how they should behave. I've noted carefully what his Holiness has said in the United States. Obviously that was a source of great comfort and healing in the United States. I'm like all Australians very much looking forward to what the Pope has to say here in Australia as well, as I am to my own conversation with the Pope later this morning." Kevin Rudd, Prime Minister of Australia, 17 July 2008. more

Wednesday, 22 June 2022 - I may not have this down syntax, word and letter perfect or
with
absolute precision in every aspect; however time and the evidence will show that I am closer to the truth than
any religion has been or will likely be.
Let history be the standard by which that is measured.

Atkinson get it wrong - again
The Commissioner informs us that the clergy sexual abuse issue was all over and that it had only been a
small statistical glitch around the year 2000. History shows this to have been a display of absolute ignorance
on the issue ...
