The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood.

If you are ever on King Island and in particular Phoque's Bay
Close your eyes and listen carefully, you may hear a child at play
He'll be splashing in the water or running across the sand
Just living as a happy child, the way we both had planned
Cos he never had a childhood, his innocence was torn away
Trauma stopped his childhood, fear had come to stay
The child inside of me kept me safe and he took all the pain
While I pretended that all was well, though I thought my world insane
The physical pain had gone away, but still the tears would fall
My self esteem, at an all time low, I felt so very small
But it was time to stand alone, setting the child inside of me free
It was time for him to have his childhood, it was time for me. to be me
So both of us took a journey, and we settled on Phoque's Bay
I saw the smile there in his eyes, so I set him on his way
The laughter as he saw the waves, he squealed in great surprise
No longer would I feel his fear, no more would hear his cries
Maybe, you may even see him, there really is no need for words
Just leave him in his merriment, let him fly free with the birds
I owe this child a debt so large, a debt I could never repay
So from now until eternity, I hope, as a child he will always play
