The Christian religion at it's core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma has been kept alive, active and deeply embedded in each new generation over the past 2,000+ years.

Jabulani is an African word meaning "rejoice" and having wonderful people like Yvonne bring their experience and knowledge to a next generation has paved the way for many of us to rejoice in the experience of knowing her, ands in seeing and experienceing the joy she has brought to so many in her unique way. She has brought great knowledge, and understanding of early childhood, and has influenced many in safe and wonderful ways to raise our children. I have benefitted immensely from her friendship, and am so pleased that she was able to bring many safe and stable places and experiences into my life, and into the life of my child.
Catching up with Yvonne, and having a wonderful afternoon with her, is one of those exceptional days in my life spent with an exceptional person, and an exceptional mother. Hers is a life journey that has put real emotional meaning to the word "Rejoice", for both myself and my son, and understanding her a little more brings me in celebration of her way of educating, and to rejoice in the many benefits that she has brought into my bumpy at times life.
Our culture hopefully one day will take more of her knowledge, and will integrate it into something that will bring safety, and happiness in childhood, that will grow in rejoicing in their journey in the way Yvonne has.
Yvonne Winer was born in South Africa and has lived in Australia since 1961. She has published more than 40 books, and has spent the greater part of her life as an academic. She has a PhD in Philosophy, and has acted as a consultant in basic education and early childhood, to UNICEF in the Pacific, and as an early childhood consultant, developing literacy programs in South Africa and Malaysia. In 2002, she conducted writing workshops in Vanuatu, which resulted in 40 picture books for preschool children in the 115 languages of Vanuatu. Yvonne sees story telling as a rich experience that meanders through a pathway of music, dance, drama, rhymes and playful language. A pathway that provides a wealth of encounters with the visual arts, early childhood development and invites children, their parents, grandparents, carers and early childhood educators to share the peace and harmony she she shared with those she met amnd worked with in her wonderfil life journey.
Yvonne Winer is an award winning children's author, early childhood educator, academic and consultant.
Yvonne's first early childhood book 'Finger plays and action rhymes' was published in 1970. Another thirty six books have followed, some written for children and others for educators. These include the classic Mr Brown's Magnificent Apple Tree and Never Snap at a Bubble.

So when Yvonne called back this morning I had no idea how many days ago it was that I spoke to Syd.
A lot can go through you head in timescales like that but Yvonne was Yvonne, her voice was as smooth and as strong as it was the last time I spoke with Yvonne. I contend that being raised runny nosed and barefoot in a Matabelle Kraal can do that for you.
There is a whole lot more to tell about Yvonne and I added a page on my blog as one of the special people that I have had the good fortune of encountering in my life. Catching up with Yvonne will be a day for me to retell my son about.
Undoori would chuckle over his silver hair comment which was spot on. Just having a bit of a rush of recalling some of those good people and how I kept their memories safe. The Buffalo would put their head down and turn into the storm and just keep forging ahead in North America. European white females - their knowledge of safe and protective raising of children is necessary if we are going to live in a community that is enabled on behalf of children. That understanding has been lost to Christian and Catholic women as their role has been to raise as many as possible to swell the armies of a God always wanting virgins to rape and wars and battles to wage because they were dysfunctional specifically because of the toxic nature of their upbringing.
The most natural female people in the world all have that. I have encountered some with connections to aboriginal or Native People; Indigenous I think is the right word - Non Christian, non religious, secular and scientific beginning with Feynman's methods is where I came to understand that. It has a broader scope than I have experienced. Add in some Sapolsky, some Andrea, some Sandy, some Maurie, some Herbie (who they ritually murdered) and tens of thousands of years of cultural learning how to be safe parents in a safe community.
I still hear Christians calling "It takes a Community" or or it takes a Village to raise a child; their failing is obvious to anyone raised in a safe community. No child can be safe in the hands of any God who does not understand some about time, genetics, evolution, apposable thumbs, micro chip technology, CRISPR, mycorrhizae relationships, CharlieD and Al Wallace, Global Warming, The Big Dick Swingers in Canberra, George Pell's understanding of communication from beyond around 13.7 billion years ago to the Vatican today and the renewal of their fetidly failing franchise, The Global Clergy Abuse Crisis, Bitcoin, TikTok Influencers and wearables are all doing more towards child safety, child care and child protection today; alive or dead than the collective 2,000 years of Christianity and I challenge anyone to provide sufficient evidence to sway me from that opinion.
Long may it's fetid carcass feed the creatures of the darkest places as is deserving when we attempt to anthropomorphize some people and cultures..
The safest hands that I have felt belonged to people like nurse Wong at the Royal Melbourne Children's Hospital and Peter Williams who operated on my arm and elbow and fixed it really well. Of the many injuries I experienced from religious people that injury is easy to carry even though I don't have full movement in it and it does not give me any signs of arthritis or being affected by the heat or cold like my right shoulder and other religiously engered violence. Tthe doing of a fairly hard task going back over what I now recognise as a blockage where I experienced being shot was altogether different to any of the other life threat situations and abuses I had found myself the target of.
It becomes more difficult to hold abused children to account for the disadvantages of being raised in a Christian family; just as it is more able to visualize a safe and prosperous future and so to see and acknowledge yourself and to look for those ways you know how you tried to resist as a child, once the panic passes or is not there for whatever reason it can get bundled and labelled and forgotten because it was never safe to review some parts of it. It is after all natural in a "naturally" safe community to find your way back to a mother figure and what better mother figure for me today is there than Yvonne Winer.
Spring is rushing forward with many gusts of fresh and friendly air; another reward than comes with recovery. My September days are becoming self perpetuating in their own way, along with an allowance for human tradition and ritual in its natural nurturing place. The 1st of Spring has always been a good memory for me as it is my mothers birthday 1/9/1920. What a world she would see if she were here today; so many of the things she and others worked for are still needed like human rights and freedom to marry whomever you choose if you are of legal age, vicarious guilt, shunning and humiliation in front of a human sacrifice altar, depictions of human inhumanity, abuse and torture held in highest regard on open display in front of helpless children; abortion as the right of the bearer of the child, women abuse children differently, human sexuality, gender, supremacy of Australian Law, men with sworn oaths of allegiance to the Holy See and hence the Vatican via the pathway provided Constitutionally in Australia together with Concordats at Executive level situating affected people in positions of power and control in every Police jurisdiction in the country and not even a first sign of the huge whiff of conspiracy by way of those cultural connections and oaths of allegiance to a foreign nation state yet.

"This is a matter for the church and I respect the internal judgements of the church. I don't stand outside the church and provide them with public lectures in terms of how they should behave. I've noted carefully what his Holiness has said in the United States. Obviously that was a source of great comfort and healing in the United States. I'm like all Australians very much looking forward to what the Pope has to say here in Australia as well, as I am to my own conversation with the Pope later this morning." Wednesday, 22 June 2022 - I may not have this down syntax, word and letter perfect or with absolute precision in every aspect; however time and the evidence will show that I am closer to the truth than any religion has been or will likely be.
Let history be the standard by which that is measured.
