The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

I once had a Mafia Don advise me while offering 5 then 8 million $US to help me set up in trucking for the Mob in Australia. It was a permanent job that is for a lifetime, you will not want for anything that money can buy. There is no retirement plan; it's binary; you are in or you are out; there are no other options and you will pay back with interest every cent borrowed (or they will take it piece by piece directly from your body) while keeping with the plan to grow it large as they were being hurt financially at that time by an Auzzie upstart which I think may have been called Green Freight in the US at that time.
His advice as to how to maintain credibility and to be a source of connection and support in trhe community was a simple process of marrying a "good Catholic girl" an giving her priest lots and lots of money because Catholic girls get to look after the kids and do not interfere in a man's daily work as they are obedient and remain silent about anything untoward or too obvious. Added to that they have a way of forgetting that comes from regular visits to the confessional which he attended regularly while bursting out laughing ay some of the sins he got to confess admitting that he needed to be more creative.
He laughed and said sometimes you might want to cry as he put down his white lightning that made tears in my eyes, he put down that fat cigar that he could hardly get his teeth around while he put his pearl handled chrome .45 back in the top drawer of his office desk as he had just settled an insurance dispute with a couple of drunkards who had offered me a beating due to their insurance not willing to pay for their latest "accident".
Somehow I lucked on the notion to call my mobster boss who I was driving truck for in central BC. I called him and he said "Bring them around Oz" and I did. It was a short discussion as he came out of the house with the cigar and a fancy smoking jacket with his initials embroided in huge golden letters with that chrome slidetop tucked into its belt.
His method was calm and quite assertive as he asked them if they knew who he was. One did, the other did not appear to.
He very deliberately pulled out the slidetop and said in a calm voice "My name is ...... now fuck off" and that was the end of his discussion with them as he put his arm around my shoulder and offered me the first taste I had had from his jug of white lightning.
Those are some memories that I had almost forgotten. Remeberring going to a swanky Chines place with his wife, top driver and his wife where he offered to buy the place and burnt it down around the guys ears because he did not have any of his favorite Spumante which the owner obligingly and quickly sent someone out to buy a dozen.
