The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

It is a human right for everyone to have a safe childhood - this is simply not possible in an environment where the child is subjected to mental torture and perpetual psychological slavery as a result of embedded fear and the lack of independent supporters.
The prognosis for a good recovery is largely dependent upon the response the victim receives from others. A vast array of ignorance and reaction are the mainstay of a survivors journey of recovery; this is evident in the differing styles of support. A secular evidence based support system has no ultimate god or supreme being that the survivor can develop new delusions of association with a figure that abandoned them as young innocent children - that is not recovery; that is supposedly a religious "healing" built on a framework of deception, mythology, superstition and place in a hierarchy of billions. There is only survival in such an environment as their true sense of self is again hidden away and may never rise again. The truth of their experience will never be fully told or acted on due to the propensity of religion and its followers to be able to construct excuses at any point in their religious healing. An evidence based recovery program offers no delusions, no fantasy, no mythology and no superstitions, instead it can provide a real pathway to help open up for the first time in their life their real personality - the personality that was forced into seclusion and hiding as a result of the lack of empathy and the need to fit the survivor into their supposed place in the hierarchical system that is found in every religion. They remain at risk of further exploitation.
Many fall victim to the faith healing claims of religion or the religious where proponents claim "spiritual abuse" and seek to treat that with a range of cultural repetitions; for many survivors of abuse by clergy this often results in the victim being drawn back into the religious system that originally bonded them to their abusers where they are set for the next round of psychological control in a perpetual war against their own personal development as they can never reach a suitable level of personal power and authority within the hierarchical structures of religion.
The human rights of the child are re-sold to them as being returned to their "rightful" place; this simply makes them a sacrifice to the wants of an insatiable god and system. The rightful place for all humans is to be free of psychological torment, psychological entrapment and psychological slavery so that they can develop to their full potential; this can never happen in a religious environment where power and control are everything for those higher up the chain.
2023 Findings in Spain found that 0.6% of the population of Spain had been sexually abused by Roman Catholic priests and laity. Up to 50 million alive on any day who have been raped or abused by Catholic clergy &/or Catholic laity
Current world population is 8 billion - 0.6% = 48 million alive today who are likely to have been raped by Catholics globally.
The church protected the perpetrators, not the victims
