The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

As far as a favorite Supreme Being or God the Christian one is a monumental failure as any 4 year old human can if unhindered by threats or demands quickly devise concepts that are more supportive, more humane and more inclusive in moments and can go on doing for their entire existence.
But no instead we have to live with the narcissistic rage of rancid aged men out of touch technologically and out of touch with the way we humans have evolved and developed and out of touch with real family development and needs while being out of touch regarding inclusiveness, morals, ethics and mental health of entire nations are hijacked through a Constitutionally protected form of exploitative inhumanity loosely bundled under the self delusional label of "Religion" making it a haven for human rights abuses and protected form of exploitation on large scales in an uncontrolled and unregulated part of our Communities that are set apart and outside of their Human Responsibilities under thousands of years of unfounded claims.
We can send rockets and people to the Moon and dive to the bottom of the oceans yet we don't have any religions who champion the Human Rights of Children.
It will not change gracefully as you would expect from the cultural hegemony we currently get to live in.

Current world population is 8 billion - 0.6% = 48 million alive today who are likely to have been raped by Catholics globally.
The church protected the perpetrators, not the victims
