The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood.

There is a valid question that asks if the effects of a growing population (needs an overlay also) that goes from about 1 billion 1890 to almost 8 billion in the time frame and its conversion of carbon based fuels and the release of that into atmospheric gases has an effect on the degree of changes that we usually experience.
If you were a farmer and you had a paddock with 1 animal that was doing very well on the abundance of that paddock.
Add 1 additional animal each 10 years until you have 8. Now factor in the needs of each animal and the productivity of the paddock as it varies with the natural weather fluctuations.
Any farmer knows that he has to strike a balance when times are harsh to ensure he obtains the best result over the time frame; he does that by removing an animal at a time until he finds the best balance based on his experience and knowledge. The one factor he has dirty data for is the natural variations in the weather over longer periods he is still at the mercy of fires and floods etc.
These are tough decisions for the farmer and is an even tougher question for humanity to face; unfortunately with so many in our society craving the power and profits that come from being an elected representatives we have ended up with those who want to focus on funding and protecting the shamans so some can publicly pray for intervention from a mythical deity.
Here is where many of our present problems arise in that those that have gotten into politics on the Christian ticket still rely on that for their return at the next election.
When you have a country hijacked by mythology this way you get the style of governance that we have had since federation and the development of our constitution which was the product of a society of 96% Christian believers; today that number is around 50% yet we still have the same party system that came from our original 1901 96% Christian constitution. Representation has not kept up with the changing demographics of the Australian population.
Not until that changes or they get flooded or burnt out personally will they review their corrupted methodology; in the meantime the population and the country are locked into their own theocratic survival clash.
Can those who rely on the mystical and superstitious be trusted to make the right decision for our country?
The next 10 years of data will creep up on many ; in the meantime the animals in the paddock suffer and argue among themselves as they die of starvation , fires and floods until their population drops sufficiently to allow the paddock to be more productive over longer time frames.
Addendum Wednesday, 22 June 2022 5:08:27 PM - I may not have this down syntax, word and letter perfect or with absolute precision in every aspect; however time and the evidence will show that I am closer to the truth than any religion has been or will be. Let history be the standard by which that is measured.
The Commissioner informs us that the clergy sexual abuse issue was all over and that it had only been a small statistical glitch around the year 2000. History shows this to have been a display of absolute ignorance on the issue ...
