The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

From a conversation today
Its amazing when you start digging n vested interests get really upset
pondered the causes of that one often - CYA firstly cover your arse because you feel guilt about yours or others past or you got beaten up every time you attempted to surmount an issue or there is trauma and a blockage of some sort
#%#%^ I just analysised the whole country ?? ?? ??
CYA follwed by BSE
The core of psychopathy comes in that - if you are looking for someone and you can't see anything about yourself look around you and project your issues on to others. Share the load.
BSE Blame some else. After that its just a matter of granularity and cost and effects, impacts
Complicity
can be
can be other than that also
both are things that have been hidden
- same processes - we all do it
am fixated at the moment on this aspect of being human we all have an algorithm in common - what is processed is unique to each individual the process is repeated throughout the 75% of the cortex and in some of the old brain this guy is another who describes it https://youtu.be/KcaVhMt71qE?t=823
This notion is much more concrete now as a result of neuroscience but the idea had been about for a lot longer the division between executive functions (thoughts and taking actions - technically and legally we call that free will and then the 25 or so % that is the system running in the background that is in effect the master control - the battle as David Brinn may have described it is between those aspects of being human
Take the example of trauma reduction in Catholic raised and educated individuals who have been educated into a perspective of free will that is impossible to reconcile with the evidence. The evidence describes the human nature of it. The catholic version describes a fantasy of a mirror image of almighty god with the only thing standing in the way of progress to an everlasting life is the appearance of what neuroscience calls human nature
PolyVagal theory - simply the knowledge of which course their experience took them. Of those 3 (Flight flight freeze) they in actual reality and fact have a degree of input only , in the event of freeze/immobilisation about all they have left as available options is anxiety and then depression if that circumstance continues - this is why many who have been abused in institutions have withdrawn from society as much as possible.
Therapist uncensored touches this so clearly when we look we see those closest to us - it is often the attempt to unburden indescribable trauma and fear (life threat) - this is often referred to as vicarious trauma or can and does become a part of relationships
So now in the midst of increasing tension and anxiety you are supposed to relax space out dissociate such that the footy beer or sausages becomes first priority - then you see your problem as something to pass over to someone more powerful and effective than you ??
We need a PolyVagal break or reminder * or there is trauma and a blockage of some sort
Hmmm
Problem though - if you reduce all criminality to no more than ' human ' responses and triggered association then the predators get off some may - that in and of itself does not reduce the number of pedophiles **(with the exception of Catholic and other clergy on a journey to a next life) **the bigger problem
it does however allow you to get at the reality of much of it and top understand it origins and at that point we get to educate ourselves about what it is to be a human being and how system like the vagal system and the rest of that 25% of what is commonly referred to as how your brain actually works
when you only have a history of gods resolving human dilemma you get hangings and children split in half or burned or dunked or buried in post holes - the first time in our history we have the ability to see ourselves for who and what we actually are vested interest as become self preservation and responses to hidden or forgotten traumas
I understand that.
But lets not reduce criminality to the absurd
Because these bastards would plead mitigation
There certainly is a number of boundaries - one of those comes as a result of understanding what actions humans take when they are in predatory mode
Yes
You know they will plead anything
we are the most psychological creatures on the planet and we use it at times with consummate skills to smoke out or mist up the view of others The reality view does not exclude isolating someone for criminal behaviour
To me , you cannot plead freewill under canon law and then try the scientific reduction approach
there would still be a need for prisons for wilful criminality
The canon law and then try the scientific reduction approach is a Furphy
You know a member of parliament, a survivor, suggested the death penalty for persistent predators?
The canon law and then try the scientific reduction approach is a Furphy yet they will run this
I do - I possibly could go along with that however I would have a much higher requirement than many before I would agree to that as a "cure" is all
yes they do
Have you heard the latest re canon law reasons for not paying victims?
run that as a furphy?
This happened recently
and that can only keep happening as it does when we put the freedoms of one religon version in front of others and pf democratic secular governance
The canonical duty of maintaining cemeteries and such would compromise the church financially if victims were paid They argued that being forced to pay would infringe religious freedom
you don't pay property or pay property for personal crimes - firstly you don't recognise them or the criminal actions as criminal actions - you reframe them as sins and then forgive them
that is the toxic nature of Catholicism
I know they argued that - how preposterous
You get my point. They are pushing for exemptions to liability as freedom of religious practices are more important
I may have offended someone recently when I mentioned the services of a Catholic priest given the role of undertaker and gatherer of funds to support mother church
Yes - This discriminates against all who are not religious
Give them all human rights and make the churches operate within those guide lines
enshrine the full scope of human rights right across the country and then allow any religion who wants to be in the country welcome under those few clear universal conditions
***Need to remove all references to supreme beings and gods from the universal declaration and others so that they remain relevant and universally so
and universal to all - to every Australian equally

Order these on the basis of importance2023 Findings in Spain found that 0.6% of the population of Spain had been sexually abused by Roman Catholic priests and laity. Up to 50 million alive on any day who have been raped or abused by Catholic clergy &/or Catholic laity
Current world population is 8 billion - 0.6% = 48 million alive today who are likely to have been raped by Catholics globally.
The church protected the perpetrators, not the victims
"This is a matter for the church and I respect the internal judgements of the church. I don't stand outside the church and provide them with public lectures in terms of how they should behave. I've noted carefully what his Holiness has said in the United States. Obviously that was a source of great comfort and healing in the United States. I'm like all Australians very much looking forward to what the Pope has to say here in Australia as well, as I am to my own conversation with the Pope later this morning." Wednesday, 22 June 2022 - I may not have this down syntax, word and letter perfect or
with
absolute precision in every aspect; however time and the evidence will show that I am closer to the truth than
any religion has been or will likely be.
Let history be the standard by which that is measured.

Atkinson get it wrong - again
The Commissioner informs us that the clergy sexual abuse issue was all over and that it had only been a
small statistical glitch around the year 2000. History shows this to have been a display of absolute ignorance
