The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood to resolve the harms done to them. The Christian religion at its core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active, and deeply embedded in each new generation, as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.
The lure to draw victims forward was that they would not be asked to tell their story over and over. The Royal; Commission described the trauma and horror of requiring survivors to do so yet that is what our government now requires in the redress scheme that is set to cause more suffering of those who came forward in the hope of "Never again".
The problem with over and over is that it lays down and strengthens memories of the abuse - that this takes place is supported factually based on the evidence of neuroscience and therefore we must see this as a deliberate psychological attack on the victims or a state of absolute ignorance on the part of those who constructed such a scheme.
What sort of insanity is it when we continue to torture the victims by needlessly and cavalierly searing yet again the torture of their childhood rape into the memory and the brain of already abused survivors.
Unrepentant rapists and psychopaths must be besides themselves knowing that they have achieved a system of repeated torture onto their victims only this time that is carried out on their behalf by the very people who have been entrusted to protect the children of Australians. The betrayal of survivors continued unabated and will continue to be seen for the psychologically sick torment that it is until a true and genuine humanitarian response is developed and implemented.
The reality is that the PM and government are obviously impervious to the facts of neuroscience and trauma informed psychology that informs us that each retelling strengthens the memory in the brain of those retelling of these insane life threatening traumatic experiences and that that increases their suffering and can cause self harm and suicide without suitably professional support which is a rarity and an exceptional experience when you find such educated and humane people. Unfortunately none of those experiences have come from the world of politics and corporations yet
.There is no compassion and there can be no appearance of justice while victims who have already come forward at immense and at times a life threatening expense are required again to go over and to strengthen these memories which for many as a result last until their dying breath simply because of the ignorance and wilful bloody mindedness of some politicians and lawyers.
The lack of empathy and the lack of consideration of human rights by governments is astonishing and that is only exceeded by the horror of that reality.
The unbending unrelenting need to re-traumatize and to re-torture victims over and over is not surprising as it simply mirrors the dysfunctional responses of the Catholic and other Churches who have at last been caught out for their centuries of rape, abuse and cover up of the systematic torture and rape of children.
The current redress scheme requirements could easily be reduced dramatically by a supportive act of parliament that would allow the transcripts of the disclosures and if requested their private session transcript to be provided to the redress scheme in confidentiality. There should be no ability for abusive institutions to obtain access or for them to obstruct the processes of the redress scheme in determining the appropriate sum of redress
.Nothing further should be required of these national heroes as they have stood head and shoulders above all else in their communities through forward. In doing so they have shown that they have more humanity, more dignity and more concern for the human rights of their fellow Australians.
The lack of these human attributes and human rights is glaringly evident in the current redress scheme.
This failure only serves the servants of a dysfunctional system and broken religions bolstered with unlimited funds via a broken justice system that has allowed churches to abuse the power of the contributions this country makes on behalf of the people through employing endless lawyering to simply obstruct and to punish and to actively block all forms of humane and compassionate acts for those tasked with a need to access a redress system that clearly lacks true human rights and the dignity that each survivor is entitled to.
Aside from that the hypocrisy of each religion leaves a putrid stench of the sordid dysfunctional dogma and psychology that has been deployed that will never see the names of their gods and their religions to be seen as holy and spiritual or compassionate entities ever again.
The reality for each survivor is that their suffering and torment will increase 100% or more and yet no acknowledgement of that will be shown in the redress they are provided and no doubling of the monetary compensation will be made if they were to be humanely treated if they are effectively forced to experience repeated torture simply to fulfill a need that has already been met
.It is a truly sick and sadistic society that knowingly allows those we entrust the management of our country to abuse over and over those they lured and enticed to come forward with promises of never having to tell their story ever again.
Please write or ring your local state and federal members and ask them to for once show that they are real genuine men who have real human compassion and respect for those who came forward to disclose the largest ever crime spree this country has seen perpetrated against children so that these elderly suffers of human torture are not subjected to torture yet again.
While emailing or talking to them tell them also that we need a review of section 116 of our Constitution that religions have assumed gives their belief systems right of authority over the laws of Australia.
2023 Findings in Spain found that 0.6% of the population of Spain had been sexually abused by Roman Catholic priests and laity. Up to 50 million alive on any day who have been raped or abused by Catholic clergy &/or Catholic laity
Current world population is 8 billion - 0.6% = 48 million alive today who are likely to have been raped by Catholics globally.
The church protected the perpetrators, not the victims
"This is a matter for the church and I respect the internal judgements of the church. I don't stand outside the church and provide them with public lectures in terms of how they should behave. I've noted carefully what his Holiness has said in the United States. Obviously that was a source of great comfort and healing in the United States. I'm like all Australians very much looking forward to what the Pope has to say here in Australia as well, as I am to my own conversation with the Pope later this morning." Kevin Rudd, Prime Minister of Australia, 17 July 2008. more

Let history be the standard by which that is measured.

Atkinson get it wrong - again
The Commissioner informs us that the clergy sexual abuse issue was all over and that it had only been a
small statistical glitch around the year 2000. History shows this to have been a display of absolute ignorance
