The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood. The Christian religion at it's core is a toxic mechanism whereby intergenerational trauma is kept alive, active and deeply embedded in each new generation as it has done over the past 2,000+ years.

Once you have read your first two or three thousand research and/or press articles on trauma, PTSD and recovery knowing that our well-being as a survivor is based on how we think and how we think can be aided or denied via a wide variety of means is something that fits with much of the evidence; as well it clicks on occassions with your lived experience and healthy recovery.
The world is trying to understand some of those means and is learning from the evidence of inquiry after inquiry across the globe exposing the rape of hundreds of thousands of children by clericalism and religion. That humanity is preparing to belatedly launch itself into this current millenium with a whole new understanding of our environment and the world we live in. Millions. No not just millions but billions of human beings are are hoping that organised religion will take a back seat so that our world can put into best practice the wealth of knowledge we are currently gaining from our new vantage point of being the most data aware and data intensive class of humans ever to grace the surface of our planet.
There are all sorts and one recently asked when were we going to begin to read some in-depth from Australian reporters with regard to the failure of the mainstream religions in our culture to be able to protect the sexual safety of our children on into the future. It seems that while their future is haggled over sin by sin by the clerics and trauma by trauma by those abused and horror by horror by those who had the misfortune to have been born into Catholic and other Judeo Christian religions.
The obvious lessons are there for the entire country to ingest. The reality is that for more than 100 years Christian religions have been given preferential treatment across all aspects of the Australian community; that same reality shows us that clericalism, sexual and other abuses ran unchecked for decade after decade while the interests of the Church and its clerics came before the rights of safety for our children.
2023 Findings in Spain found that 0.6% of the population of Spain had been sexually abused by Roman Catholic priests and laity. Being a 2024 Catholic in today's real world
Current world population is 8 billion - 0.6% = 48 million alive today who are likely to have been raped by Catholics globally.
The church protected the perpetrators, not the victims
