Why it is not a good time to champion Human Rights for Children in Australia

UPDATE: Saturday, August 25, 2018 7:12:38 AM

When you see that your government, your religion and its clergy have all failed children and you turn to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as your guide; it's then that you really begin ti feel the pressure from many of your fellow Australians.

Is it anger, frustration or simply sheer exhaustion at the constant placement of religion at the forefront. Not even the findings of the Royal Commission have touched the hearts of federal politicians other than to take a brief moment out to apologize and repeat the well honed pleadings and repeat of failed promises and then it's back to business because there is a need to make money and besides your friend suffers from that horrific issue of the tyranny of distance and is in immediate need for attention from your local politician.

Child sexual abuse victims? Yes, yes thats horrible and like the Church we apologized and ow if you will excuse me I have other more important business to attend to.

Human Rights in Australia? Surely you are kidding me. Ask a politician and you will be told of all the good work just like the Christian religion does and now ask your lawyer and you will learn that they don;t really play a role of any significance in the general day to day business of Australia and its politicians, leaders and clergy of any religion.

What Christian religion champions Human Rights for Children?

The answer to that is None. Not a single one and that is not likely to change until you and others like you get into doing something about it. For me I am currently venting my frustrations by putting these pages together about it and hope you will come along and join in.

FACT:

A child in an emotionally & mentally healthy family and community has no need for the presence of a God no matter the offered rewards, no matter the sophistry and deception of claimed and real threats

MORE FACTS:

No Australian Christian religion aspires to the basic principle of providing Human Rights to Children. The horror of it is that children in Australia by definition are secondary and the property of the religion of their parents and their political representatives.
